I have lived and worked in the Brookings area all my life. I grew up on a farm near Arlington, SD and later graduated from Brookings High School in 1977 after my family made the move to Brookings in 1969. Brookings has been the perfect place for my husband, Scott, and I to raise our two children, Jamison and Staci. Jamison journalism and landscape architecture at South Dakota State University. Staci will be an freshman at Brooking High School next year and keeps me busy running between volleyball, basketball, and track. My husband Scott owns and operates Meesters Auto repair and has done so since 1988.
